Tony Kieraldo
Musical & Technical Director
Tony Kieraldo is a world-renowned pianist, composer, and musical director celebrated for his work with Postmodern Jukebox and as the musical director for the National Dance Institute in New York City and Celebrate the Beat in Colorado. His album, Hudson Ragtime Piano Suite, composed during the pandemic, highlights his original compositions and pays homage to the history of the five main streets in Hudson, NY.
Tony is currently developing a new album, slated for release in 2025, which reimagines the iconic music of James Bond in ragtime piano and voice. This project features collaborations with talented singers he has worked with in Postmodern Jukebox. He frequently collaborates with tap dance sensation Demi Remick, producing captivating arrangements of music ranging from The Wizard of Oz to Taylor Swift.
Since 2003, Tony has served as a musical director for the National Dance Institute, training musicians worldwide, including in China, Mexico, Lebanon, and various cities across the United States. In 2017, Tony conducted the critically acclaimed opera The Mother of Us All, which received glowing reviews in The New Yorker and The New York Times. His performances have graced The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and included two appearances at the White House for the Obamas.
Tony is passionate about learning, traveling, studying French and Spanish, fashion, and self-improvement. His mission is to bring live music to dance and movement, inspiring young learners to express themselves through the music he creates and performs.
A fun fact about Tony is that he was born on the coldest January 11th on record in Wisconsin during a blizzard.
