Ben Parrish

Musician

Ben Parrish is a guitarist, composer, and educator based in Denver, CO. Originally from Seattle, he moved to Greeley in 2012 to attend the University of Northern Colorado, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in jazz guitar in 2015. He later completed his Master's degree in jazz guitar at the University of Denver in 2019.

Ben is an active performer, playing in several groups, including the internationally-renowned rock band Milquetoast and Company, Dart Echo, and a variety of jazz and pop ensembles. In addition to his performance career, Ben maintains a private teaching studio, where he works with students of all ages. His latest jazz/electronic project, Crankbait, was released in September 2024.

As an active musician with Celebrate the Beat, Ben brings his passion for energetic music from a wide stylistic catalog to help dancers succeed rhythmically while enjoying fun songs in the process.

Outside of music, Ben enjoys defending his title as the #10 yoyoer in the state of Colorado and running his fishing YouTube channel, Current Fisher.
