Introducing new board members; Caroline Czirr, Leon Robinson, and D.L. Pos Ryant.

In our commitment to grow the CTB board to include diverse experiences, we are thrilled to introduce three new members: Caroline Czirr, Leon Robinson, and  D.L. Pos Ryant.  Caroline, Leon, and Pos all bring a passion for the arts and education, and we are grateful for their expertise and guidance.

Caroline Czirr

Caroline Czirr is a sales and marketing expert wielding an unparalleled network of executive and high-worth decision-makers within interior design, hospitality, entertainment, luxury and corporate travel, professional sports, and YPO groups nationally. Built with an elite profile of connections, Caroline consults as a creator of brand-centric product sales and implementation strategies from assessment to execution, with a history of surpassing expectations. Caroline has personally spearheaded eight start-ups, opened 32 new hotels, and developed five original hotel brands, including the rebranding of four legacy hotel brands. Caroline has been working with CTB as a 2023 Spring Gala committee member, and her expertise has been invaluable in planning the event.

 

Leon

Leon, actor and musician, is best known for his roles as David Ruffin in the TV film The Temptations (1998), J.T. Matthews in the 1991 Robert Townsend film The Five Heartbeats, Derice Bannock in the 1993 film Cool Runnings, Shep in the 1994 basketball drama film Above the Rim, and Little Richard in the 2000 film Little Richard.

Leon is the lead vocalist and songwriter for the band, “Leon & The Peoples,” and in 2018 released the band’s second album, “Love Is A  Beautiful Thing,” on Spectra Music label to rave reviews and two top 20 Billboard singles. Leon also works behind the camera, directing and producing short films, music videos, commercials, and TV development with his New York-based production company Motion Mob Films. 

 

D.L. Pos Ryant

D.L. Pos Ryant brings over seven years of strategic planning experience; passion for business, nonprofit, and personal development; strengths as a community builder and connector; experience as a wellness advocate and youth mentor; and creative and practical genius as an entrepreneur and business coach. He is passionate about strategy, wellness, positive youth development, and community-building. 

As a Strategic Planning Facilitator and DEI Consultant, Pos has supported strategic planning sessions with local and national businesses and nonprofits. He has directed planning sessions with The SHARE Network and Civic Canopy, Guided by Humanity, and others; and led DEI work with Maria Droste Counseling, working with their interns around cultural awareness, bias, and microaggressions.  

Pos has extensive business experience with a dual MBA in Finance/Accounting and Strategic Management from Regis University. Pos is also the Executive Director and Co-Founder of The Apprentice of Peace Youth Organization (AOPYO), a nonprofit focusing on reducing mental health stigma and increasing life skills through wellness. Before founding AOPYO, Pos worked in mutual funds and real estate.
