Our Mission
Celebrate the Beat (CTB) provides in-school and after-school dance programs that improve children’s physical health and well-being, inspire self-confidence, and instill a standard of excellence that carries into all aspects of their lives. For at-risk youth with limited access to high-quality arts education, CTB’s dance curriculum is life-changing—empowering them with discipline, creativity, and the belief that anything is possible.
Our Impact
Our programs cultivate a healthier, whole-child school culture. Through the transformative power of dance, students develop essential life skills—resilience, self-advocacy, and collaboration—that extend far beyond the dance floor and into every aspect of their lives.
Because self-management and self-awareness are fundamentally rooted in the body, dance becomes a powerful tool for teaching focus, perseverance, and teamwork. These skills equip students to return to their classrooms ready to learn, engage, and succeed.
